The Perseverance is a rare Free of Tie pub in Bloomsbury near Holborn and Russell Square tube stations. Nearby attractions and places of interest include Charles Dickens Museum, Russell Square, The British Museum, The Brunswick shopping centre.
We have a wide choice of drinks available including some fine wines selected by Philip at Albion Wine Shippers, our local wine supplier just across the street. We specialise in craft beers and lagers and have some great beers from London brewers like Camden and The Kernel and some from a little further afield like WoodenHand in Cornwall and Brewdog in Scotland. Come and try our newly introduced Warsteiner and Kingstar lagers.
Our food menu offers a range of traditional British dishes such as Cod & Chips, Steak and Ale pie and vegetarian pasta. We strive to cook all our food fresh on the premises and have some wonderful local suppliers like Davies bakeries for our bread and McKenna for our meats, a local butcher just up Theobalds Road. Do come and try our fantastic Sunday roast, it’s not to be missed!
Our upstairs function room is available for hire for all types of events and celebrations and can hold up to 25 guests seated and 30 standing. Our friendly team will be on hand to help you plan your function and ensure that every aspect runs smoothly.
Buffet Menus can be arranged for private parties, please contact the pub to discuss your requirements with our Head Chef.
We are now taking bookings for Christmas. You can contact us via email, phone or just pop in and collect a function pack from our staff at the bar.
